Now, what would be the correct way to solve the problem? Is it possible to use self-signed certificates for connection? (I know it is theoretically possible to ignore the certificate check, but due to the configurations on the test laptop it is not possible) How could I resolve this problem without going through the process of obtaining and signing a certificate with a CA? I don't have a PKI in the test environment. I tried to export it to the Windows laptop, but it did not do the trick. Now, on the ASA there is a self-signed identity certificate. In the An圜onnect logs I find the following: Luckily, a workaround exists to allow the Cisco VPN Client application to function on Windows 10 and other 64-bit versions of Windows until your organization is ready to migrate to a newer VPN. However, when trying to connect to the VPN, the connection is refused. Connectivity between the ASA and the laptop is not an issue. Configuring the VPN with the wizard is not a problem. So I've got an ASA as the VPN concentrator and a Windows 10 laptop running An圜onnect.
